Phil left behind 2 sons that vowed to keep his legacy going but they had no idea of the challenge these two future captains had at hand but did not back down even after the younger of the 2, Jake, entered Rehab for some personal vices he was fighting.
Josh Harris held it together and when Jake joined him the Brothers brought in a replacement Captain since they themselves were not ready quite yet to take the helm.
This first Captain ended up being a nightmare. He had worked with them before but that was when Phil still cracked the whip and this Captain thought he could do the same which led to more problems with the crew and morale plummeted further. He was Fired after he attempted to accuse Jake of using drugs on the vessel even though he had passed numerous drug tests.
The Harris Boys were determined to succeed so they found a new Captain that turned out to be a much better fit for the vessel by the name of Tony Lara and gave it their best shot for the Opie Season. After a marginal season it was determined that they needed to step aside and get more experience without the overwhelming operating costs of running this very large fishing vessel.
For the 2011 King Crab & 2012 Opie Crab Season the crew all went their own ways and landed work on other vessels but still remain in close contact. Josh Harris jumped aboard The Time Bandit and fir right in with The Hillstrand Brothers and their Tag Team style of Captainry while Jake Harris found himself on Sig Hansens F/V Northwestern with Deckboss Edgar Hansen.
Recently a Movement to Bring Back The F/V Cornelia Marie On Facebook was launched and is now starting to pick up Steam as a recent episode of the show and its spin off show called After The Catch are hinting that this return may happen for next season on the show so who knows let's watch and find out.
